Iggy Pop, Old 97's, Warren Zevon, Richard Thompson, The Cribs and many more I can't recall at the moment. Tremendous how a song can change your mood, can separate you from the masses, can make you see clearly why you don't wear a suit and live in Rittenhouse Square and make you wonder why in the midst of all the warnings and hate and fear, two dirty dreadlocked dudes dressed as pirates and walking down Market Street can get a pullover, smiles and a hug from a perfect stranger driving by from and to god knows where.
Also you wonder how long it has been since there was a 7-11 on Lombard Street (2144) when it looks like it's been a residential dwelling since the beginning of time. Or at least the 70's.
