2) Response to the Question WHERE AM I/ARE WE? "Geographically? In the Northern Hemisphere. Socially? On the margins. Narratively? With some way to go." Upon first finding this a few weeks ago, I was clueless. I knew it was recent and recognized the paper shape as being part of a "N" shaped pad that had been located behind one of our couches downstairs. This had until recently been a place in which lots of television was viewed, and for my part, many movies late at night, hence I reasoned that this was a quote. Upon further contemplation, I had a stroke of rememberance that this was a quote from a Terry Gilliam film released in the last few years entitled "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassis", which although I did not finish watching, did start at least twice.

Instead of Holding Onto Crap, I'm Gonna Post It
Here's some selections from today's massive Netflix viewing fest and minor nighttime sorting through old crap and disposing of some, mooning over others and frowning about most.
1) The Center for Inquiry and it's related Podcast, "Point of Inquiry". There are lots of things like this around my collection, scribbled notes using as referred to me by someone I've met and found fascinating or who at least had ideas that were interesting me and suggestions where to find more. Many of these occasions occur at the APS Museum, and upon researching and listening to this podcast (currently happening) I realized this was probably during the Darwin exhibit, because the purpose of the Center and the Podcast is to promote and support science and secular thought and explore issues through this lens. So far the podcast is great, I started listening way back on their first show in 2005, and they are currently discussing whether science and religion are compatible.
