1) Spread steak open, separating meat/cheese which may have congealed overnight (or a few nights depending on individual lifestyle) from the various vegetables, other meats and roll. Open up steak to at least 75 degrees, no further than 80 degrees. This will allow heat to spread evenly.
2) Microwave for 1m and 30s @ Level 8 Power to soften roll, gently warm meat & re-melt cheese. This also will permit the other toppings to sink & settle themselves into the meat & cheese for ideal flavor-blending results. (Note: Microwave power may affect cooking time. As a rule of thumb, no <> 99m.)
3) Using foil (provided when ordered by Cosmi's) under steak, toaster oven as follows:
a) TOAST for 4 minutes --------> 400 DEGREES for 2 minutes -------> TOAST for 3 minutes
4) Apply toppings, preferably ketchup/marinara sauce as a foundation, but NEVER both!!! Microwave for 1m & 10s on 10/HIGH setting.
5) Apply more toppings as desired (if you don't desire more condiments than shown above, you may want to re-consider having purchased the Jacked-Up steak from Cosmi's, but of course you can only travel back in time as far back as when you built the time machine so unless that's already done, you're out of luck & you should) Re-toast for 2 minutes on TOAST setting.
Final Note: One of the many strengths of this strategy is the persistence of structural integrity in the crucial center portion of the seeded roll, as illustrated below...
Oh yeah, final step...EAT!
